ACT Leave spent the past month refreshing our workplace health and safety knowledge during National Safe Work Month.

This year’s theme, Safety: every job, every day, encouraged staff to explore a new WHS topic each week—covering safety fundamentals, mental health and burnout, musculoskeletal injuries, cyber safety and digital wellbeing, and diversity, accessibility and inclusion.

Staff got involved in fun and informative activities throughout the month, including a SafeTea event for World Mental Health Day—a chance to come together over a cup of tea and check in with one another. Mental wellbeing in the workplace is a daily priority for ACT Leave, and it’s always valuable to take the time to build meaningful connections.

We’ll continue to put the knowledge and skills we’ve gained during Safe Work Month into practice every day, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to workplace health and safety.
