Changes to Quarterly Return Calendars

Please be advised that the ACT Government has updated its declaration of public holidays for April 2026.

An additional public holiday has been declared for Saturday 25 April 2026, alongside the existing public holiday on Monday 27 April 2026.

The quarterly return calendars for the following schemes have been updated accordingly and are now available.

There is no change to the Building and Construction Industry Scheme calendar, as it only lists weekdays, and Anzac Day falls on a weekend.

Change to the Building & Construction levy

Effective from 1 October 2023, the employer levy rate for the Building and Construction Industry Portable Long Service Leave Scheme increased from 2.10% to 2.35%.
