The new ACT Leave client portal is now available.
Employers
What employers need to know:
Registered employers will experience the additional benefits of improved self-service functionality for:
- submitting quarterly returns
- requesting reimbursements directly within the portal
- requesting time extensions for submission and payment of returns
- overpayment refund requests
- providing account access to additional users
- accessing previous returns, transactions and current worker information.
Your first quarterly return to be processed in the new portal will be for the October-December period and is due on 31 January 2025. Quarterly return information will be generated on Friday 13 December 2024. The portal resources we have created will guide you through completing your return, however, do not hesitate to contact us if you need any further assistance.
You can now use the portal directly to request a reimbursement, by selecting ‘I want to’, followed by ‘Request Reimbursement’. If you prefer to complete a PDF form and submit it through an alternate channel, you can still do so by following the instructions on the Forms page on our website.
You can also use the portal to request a refund, extension of time, appeal an infringement notice or request a penalty waiver.
What employers need to do:
- You’ll be able to access the new portal through the client portal page on our website. If you have previously saved the direct link to the current portal, please update your bookmark with the new link.
- Initially, for security purposes, only the primary contact for each account will have access to the portal.
- When logging in to the Employer Portal for the first time, you will be required to create a new password and set up Two-factor Authentication. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete these steps.
- After gaining access to the portal, you will be able to add additional users who you would like to have account access.
