It is with pleasure that I announce the first step in a period of change for ACT Leave.

Today we launch a new website offering a wealth of information which we hope will assist you as an employer to better understand portable long service leave arrangements in the ACT, including a comprehensive FAQ page, which will place the information you need at your fingertips.

We have simplified our forms, which are available on the website, and can now be completed and submitted online along with any required supporting documentation.

With the launch of the new website, we have also introduced a new look and feel to our ACT Leave brand, which you will see reflected in all our future communication with you.

Over the next three years, we will be reshaping the way we think and do things by implementing a series of change initiatives to make your interactions with us more effective and efficient. There will be improvements in our systems and processes to support you manage your portable long service leave responsibilities. We will continue to communicate with you, provide the right tools to assist you with the changes, and position ourselves most effectively to continue to deliver exceptional customer service to you.

Your insights are incredibly valuable in shaping our future. Thank you to everyone who has already provided feedback, ideas, and input to help guide us through these initial stages. I invite all of you to reach out to us by emailing ideas@actleave.act.gov.au.
